TRICKY TAXI W/ CITY STREET PLATFORM:
Marx..O/B..4.5"L tin WU. Circa 1935. Black and white taxi moves on litho'd 5.75" x 10" tin base litho'd with street scenes. Early taxi with no checkerboard. Taxi box is missing both main flaps on one end and has a hole on one main panel. Very hard to find tin base has a small hole exactly in the center. Car G-C9. Base C8/9

MYSTERIOUS LIGHTNING EXPRESS:
Marx..O/B..9.5"L tin WU. As per Maxine Pinsky's Marx book this was the fourth version of the Motorcycle Delivery, or Speedboy Delivery. It has a rod in the rear that is pulled to work the mechanism. Wonderful color and condition. Includes the six original miniature product boxes. The box is complete with all flaps and tuck in tabs attached. There is a tear on one of the main illustrated panels along with edge/corner wear and several smaller tears. This is the only third example of this I've ever seen and the second we've offered. The first was in auction 65. Rare toy and box………………………VG-C9
